Membership Renewal

• Benefit from all the advantages offered by the Réseau;
• Has a vote at the Annual General Meeting;
• Can become a director of the Réseau;
• Can obtain insurance receipts and give them to their clients;
• Can benefit from the Skills Development Fund.

Any regular member of the Réseau who, during a renewal period, chooses to take a temporary leave of absence from their professional practice. This status is for a therapist who stops practicing for a certain period of time.

Benefits:

• Access to the member section of the Réseau website;
• Retains their acquired rights;
• Keeps their membership number;
• Can change their status as a regular member at any time of the year by paying only the months remaining in the current membership year. The total amount to be paid will be credited against the $50 disbursed at the time of renewal.

However, the support member:

• May not issue insurance receipts to clients;
• May not vote at the AGM or become a member of the Board of Directors;
• Cannot purchase items sold by the Réseau;
• Cannot receive any form of recognition or insurance;
• Cannot benefit from the Skills Development Fund;
• Does not have access to client’s files and receipts online;
• Not eligible for the free agenda offered to regular members.

Must contact the Réseau by telephone at 1 800 461-1312 ext. 2 in order to become a regular member and regain the right to practice the profession, under the authority of the association.

Any regular member who wishes to take a temporary leave of absence from practice to welcome a child. Must provide proof of parenthood. Maximum of 2 consecutive renewals for the same pregnancy.

However, the parental member:

• May not issue insurance receipts to clients;
• May not vote at the AGM or become a member of the Board of Directors;
• Cannot purchase items sold by the Réseau;
• Cannot receive any form of recognition or insurance;
• Cannot benefit from the Skills Development Fund;
• Does not have access to client’s files and receipts online;

Complete and submit your form that was mailed to you in mid-February with your payment.
A late fee of $25 applies as of April 1st.

• 1 payment of $210 on the same day.
• 2 payments: 1 payment of $105 on March 31 and 1 payment of $105 on April 30.
• 3 payments: 1 payment of $70 on March 31, April 30 and May 31.

Check or postal money order: only 1 payment of $210.

• Add “Massothérapeutes prof. du Québec” to your suppliers;
• Enter your membership number without hyphen for your reference number.
