Membership Renewal

• Benefit from all the advantages offered by the Réseau;
• Has a vote at the Annual General Meeting;
• Can become a director of the Réseau;
• Can obtain insurance receipts and give them to their clients;
• Can benefit from the Skills Development Fund.

Any regular member of the Réseau who, during a renewal period, chooses to take a temporary leave of absence from their professional practice. This status is for a therapist who stops practicing for a certain period of time. Maximum of 2 consecutive renewals.

Benefits:

• Access to the member section of the Réseau website;
• Retains their acquired rights;
• Keeps their membership number;
• Can change their status as a regular member at any time of the year by paying only the months remaining in the current membership year.

However, the parental member:

• May not issue insurance receipts to clients;
• May not vote at the AGM or become a director;
• Cannot purchase items sold by the Réseau;
• Cannot receive any form of recognition or insurance;
• Cannot benefit from the Skills Development Fund;
• Does not have access to client’s files and receipts online;
• Does not receive the agenda. It will be sent when the member becomes regular again.

Must contact the Réseau by telephone at 1 800 461-1312 ext. 2 in order to become a regular member and regain the right to practice the profession, under the authority of the association.

Any regular member who wishes to take a temporary leave of absence from practice to welcome a child. Must provide proof of parenthood. Maximum of 2 consecutive renewals for the same pregnancy.

• 2 payments of $105: March 31 and April 30.

If you are with Desjardins, the National Bank, BMO Banque de Montréal or Tangerine:

• Add the “Réseau des massothérapeutes professionnels du Québec” to your suppliers;
• Indicate your membership number without hyphen for your identification number. If your institution requires 7 digits, add a 0 at the beginning.

If you are with the Laurentian Bank:

• Add “Massothérapeutes prof. du Québec” to your suppliers;
• Enter your membership number without hyphen for your reference number.

Only 1 payment of $210 is possible.
