Skills development fund

The Skills development fund is an initiative of the Réseau that aims at supporting therapists that desire to complete their training with continuing education.

With this financial assistance from the Réseau, members have all the tools at their disposal to continue their specialization and to continue to develop their skills in the field of massage therapy.

Terms and Conditions

With this fund, any member who desires to sign up for a continuous education program offer in an academic institution recognized by the Réseau, is eligible for a grant equivalent  to 50% off the pre-taxes price of the program, up to a maximum of 200$ per training.

Admission requirements

In order to obtain a grant from the Réseau, you must:

  • Be a regular member of the Réseau;
  • Choose a continuing education program that is recognized by the Réseau (including master’s level);
  • Attend the training that you chose in one of the educational institutions recognized and audited by the Réseau;
  • Successfully complete the training.

When you receive a grant, a payment form will be sent by e-mail. Reimbursement claims must be submitted no more than 60 days following the end of the training, and before March 31, 2019. Please note that refunds are issued in the form of a cheque.

The subsidy amount to which a member is entitled may be limited under the following circumstances:

  • If a therapist regains regular member status during the subscription year after having benefitted from member or parental status support, or in the cases of re-adherence, the maximum subsidy amount will be equivalent to 50% of the amount of the dues payed for the current year;
  • If a therapist joins the Association during the course of the membership year and has not paid the equivalent amount of a full year membership, the grant’s maximum amount will be equivalent to the amount of the membership paid for the current year.

Steps to follow

  • Choose a continuous education program recognized by the Réseau and given by a recognized and audited academic institution;
  • Submit a grant application to the Réseau prior to the training by filling the form on this page;
  • When approved, complete the training;
  • Fill out the reimbursement form provided by the Réseau by e-mail and attach the invoice for the training followed and the certificate or diploma and transcript.
